I know that I've been boring some of you with all my election thoughts, so today I'm going to show you a lovely picture to make you giggle instead. Today I got to see two of my oldest friends for a catch up. One of them has just had a beautiful baby girl that we wanted to meet and we always like a gossip!!! This is us back when we were 17 and 18:
This is us 16 years, 9 children and 1 grandchild later.....
We haven't changed a bit right???? I wonder what we'll look like in another 16 years and how many children and grandchildren we'll have by then???
You look awesome! And those shoes...killer! How exciting. And I love your election stuff. ;)
ReplyDelete@Heather.....Thanks hun, you always say the nicest things!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteAwww that's so sweet! So great to have friendships that have lasted so long! :D
ReplyDeleteI'll admit I was bored by the election stuff but being the reader/friend I am - I still read them! :) x
@Emma....It is pretty cool but makes me feel really old 'cos I still feel 17!!! I won't be offended if you don't read the election stuff and promise that next week I'll be back to my usual dizzy, non-serious self ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteWow! I forgot how hot you guys used to look in the old days! You've not changed much!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the election stuff more than I thought! When's the next one?
Love Aunty Nelly xxxx
What a glam bunch you are!
ReplyDelete@Nelly......Thanks you! We threatened to cut Chez off seeing as she's far too skinny and attractive but as she's the Granny of the group I thought I'd leave her on and tell everyone she's the Granny!!!! Still working on the other parties but I'll hopefully have another one up tomorrow or Tuesday x
ReplyDelete@Muummmmeeeee......Thank you!!
Chez is a granny! How did that happen!? Apart from the obvious that is!
ReplyDeleteLove Aunty Nelly xxxx
@Nelly.....Her Hubby's oldest is 18 and just had a little girl!!! Therefore we can now call her Granny Chez!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos, you should frame them side-by-side (and do a new one every ten years!).
ReplyDeleteI watched some BBC when I was in Hungary last week - that election stuff is COMPLICATED! I did get to see Gordon Brown mutter to himself - on mic - about that voter approximately eighteen times in the span of one hour. The media really loved that.
@Debbie That sounds like a plan! It is complicated but everyone in the UK seems interested this time....maybe because it is a three horse race!! Did you enjoy Hungary?
ReplyDeleteYummy mummys!
ReplyDeleteThe Organ Grinder
xx
I lOVE it!
ReplyDelete@Organ Grinder...Thanks hun!!!
ReplyDelete@Chanel....I bet you didn't know that I was soooo glamorous in the days before children huh!???? ;-)
