I know that you are all dying to find out all the details about CyberMummy but I'm so tired that I know I won't be able to write a coherent post. I figured that I would just go with random thoughts and lots of links to amazing Bloggers instead and as soon as I have time to upload the pictures I shall share those too!!
- Definitely the best part of the day was making friends, both new people that I'd never heard of and internet friends. When I first arrived Katie came over to talk to me and she got me through the first couple of hours when I was still so nervous I was scared I may be sick!!! I also got to meet the gorgeous Emma from Me, The Man and The Baby in the flesh who (alongside Kat from 3 Bedroom Bungalow) is responsible for my state of tiredness and hungoverness!!!!
- I got to meet Annabel Karmel....cookbook author extraordinaire but because I'm such a clown didn't realise who she was until half way through speaking to her and made a right arse of myself!!! She's sooooooo polished and compact that in the picture with her I look just like Shrek!!!!!
- I learnt so much stuff at the Sessions but my hungover brain just cannot compute to you the magnitude of everything....will try and cover some of this in Part 2!!
- The keynote speeches were unbelievable!!! Some were funny and about pubic hair, brazilian waxes and dating in your Forties. Most were about things that people have lived through or dealt with and Sandy Calico (who I completely adore) had me crying like a baby when she read her post about her Dad! Gosh even thinking about it now makes me well up again!!!
- In the main room where all the sponsors had stands, there were so many cupcakes it was just obscene! We were also lucky enough to receive an indecent amount of goodie bags, which my poor arms are still suffering from dragging on the tube and up to my car!!!
- Absolute highlight of the day for me was India Knight as I want to be her when I grow up!! I thought that she was really funny on the panel and I was disappointed when she vanished afterwards so I milled around a bit and then nipped to the loo and when I came out I caught sight of her! I'd like to say that I was really cool about it but I kind of jumped up in front of her and said please, please, please can I have a picture with you and she was all 'Sure' (whilst looking me up and down and thinking who in God's name is this crazy Blogger!!!)
